Bakka Okita (Japanese: 沖田 ×華) is a female Japanese Mangaka (Manga Artist) and is an Autistic person. She was born in Uozu, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, on February 2, 1979. Her pen name comes from the English translation of the Japanese phrase "Just got up!". She is very well-known internationally for her titular auto-biography manga called I'm Doing More Every Day, Cartoonist with Asperger's (Japanese: 毎日やらかしてます。アスペルガーで、漫画家で).
However, aside from her world-famous "Cartoonist with Asperger's" Josei manga series, most of her other manga works, in general, are still very obscure outside of Japan.
